Richard Dupont. Terminal Stage (texts by Richard Marshall, Nick Paumgarten and David Hunt), Charta 2008 The book has been published on the occasion of Dupont's installation Terminal Stage at Lever House NY (March – May 2008) which consisted of nine distorted yet hyper-accurate sculptural self-portraits that originated from a computer scan of the artist’s own body. Standing slightly larger than life-size in the transparent lobby of a landmark building in the center of New York City, these static “performers” allowed themselves to be looked at, photographed and even touched by curious passersby.
